How does Best Dressed work?
What can I expect for prices?
A: Dresses start at $40, and go up to $150. Dry cleaning is included and the rental period is 5 days.
What sizes do you carry?
A: We currently carry sizes 0-14.
How long is the rental period?
A: Rental periods are for 5 days. We find that works best for most clients.
Can I extend a rental past the 5 days?
A: No problem! As long as the dress isn’t reserved immediately after you, it may be extended for an additional $5/day.
How far in advance do I need to reserve a dress?
A: You may reserve up to three months in advance, or walk out with the dress that same day (based on availability).
When is the best time to come in to look for a dress?
A: We recommend you come in about 3-6 weeks prior to your event, but we can also help you find a dress all the way up to day of your event!
Do I need to make an appointment?
A: Appointments are not necessary. Stop in anytime that is convenient for you.
Can I see dresses online?
A: Our inventory changes often, so it’s best to come into one of our stores to see our full selection. If you’re looking for something specific, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll work with you.
Can I reserve a dress online?
A: Reservations can be made in the store, as well as over the phone.

Do you offer any discounts?
A: You can get 20% off your rental by signing up for our newsletter. We're also currently offering sale dresses for $50 each, or $40 each, when you buy 2 or more! (Southie location only)
STYLE & FIT
Can you alter a dress?
A: Yes, alterations may be made but they vary by dress. Please ask your stylist for more info.
Do you offer style advice?
A: We love to style you! All styling advice is complimentary when you visit our stores.
Do you rent bridesmaids dresses?
A: We don’t carry bridesmaids dresses. However, we have had many brides create their own unique bridal party looks with dresses from Best Dressed.
Do you rent bridal gowns?
A: We don’t offer any bridal gowns at this time.
Do I need to clean the dress before I return it?
A: We take care of the dry cleaning!
What happens if I damage a dress / what is your insurance policy?
A: Insurance may be purchased for $5, which covers minor repairs (e.g. replacing a hook/button, or ripped seam). If you don’t purchase insurance, we reserve the right to charge you for the necessary repair(s).
If you damage the dress beyond repair, we reserve the right to charge you the full retail value.
Can I ship my rental back?
A: Yes. You may ship your rental back to the store you rented it from. However, we do not typically ship dresses out and we do not cover any shipping costs.
Can I change my rental?
A: Rentals may be changed 30 days prior to your pick-up date. Stop in either store and our stylists will help you find another dress. If there is a price difference, we will either charge your card or issue a store credit for the difference.
Can I cancel my rental?
A: Reservations may be cancelled 30 days before your pick-up date, for store credit only, by contacting us.
What is your late return policy?
A: If you don’t return your dress by close of business on the date on your contract, we reserve the right to charge you $75/day, for up to 5 days. For dresses that are not returned after the 5 days are up, you are charged a maximum of 200% of the retail value.
How does store credit work?
A: Your account will be updated with the details of your store credit. Store credit never expires and may be applied towards any purchase in either of our stores.
BUY & SELL
Do you offer anything else to rent/buy?
A: We sell jewelry, clutches/bags, undergarments and fashion solutions (all final sale).
Do you sell dresses?
A: Yes. We often have sales in store, sign up for our emails to be notified of any special offers. In addition to the sale dresses, if a client falls in love with a dress that isn’t reserved in the future, they may have the option to purchase it.
Do you purchase dresses from clients?
A: We don’t at this time.
Do you sell gift cards?
A: We do offer gift cards and they can be purchased for any amount. See a stylist for more details.
